Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort

The Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort is located in San Antonio, Texas.  They are on Loop 1604 about 5 miles north of Highway 90 on the west side.  Sea World of Texas is 2 miles north and Fiesta Texas is north on Loop 1604 about 13 miles just before you get to IH 10.  You can get to the RV park by coming out Hightway 90 as though going to Del Rio and taking Loop 1604 north.  The campground will be on your right.  You can also get there from the north off of IH 10.  You will be going south and pass the entrance to Sea World, pass the campground and go to the next light and do a U-turn and come back north to the entrance.  You will pull off to your right, park and go inside to sign in.

The park has over 240 sites available all with full hookups.  All sites have concrete pads with some being larger than others and are priced accordingly.  There are a lot of trees in the park so most of the sites have some shade.  They have a lot of amenities at the park and the word Resort seems to fit for this park.  Some parks that have the word Resort in their name just doesn't fit what I think a resort should be.  There is a nice swimming pool, enclosed rec area, very nice play area for children, clean restroom/shower area, very nice laundry facility, general store, some rv supplies, dinning area, fitness room, WiFi, massage room, and many other amenities.  They have a monthly calendar which lists their organized events throughout the month.

While visiting this nice park, you can take advantage of the many interesting places to visit in the San Antonio area.  Along with visiting the amusement parks in the area, you can go downtown and visit the famous Alamo, a must see, and the beautiful River Walk where there are many places to eat and shop.

The Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort is a very nice park so it gets a high recommendation from us.  We've been there three times and had a good experience each time.
