The Texarkana KOA is located at the junction of I-30 and US 59/71. The campground has 31 paved and 8 graveled sites with full hookup. They offer 30/50 amp electrical connections. The campground has a swimming pool, laundry facilities, restrooms/showers, playground, WiFi, TV connection, dump station, and a short nature trail. Pets are welcome but there is a restriction on the breed of the dog. If you have a dog, there is plenty of room to walk the dog.
We stayed at this campground on our trip to Branson, MO. It is a nice clean campground but if I have one complaint it would be the noise of the freeway. They are just off the service road adjacent to I-30. The noise was noticeable even in the camper that night, however, I didn't notice it too much the afternoon that we arrived.
The most interesting thing about the Texarkana KOA is their RV Art Gallery. They have a lot of very nice RV art that celebrates the RV lifestyle. The two artists that they feature are Richard Neuman and Paige Bridges. Along with the art that is available in prints and various items such as napkins and cups, they have some wooden campers that have clocks in them and some that are made into bird houses. I have included pictures of the inside of the store with as good a view as I could get of the art. It is very interesting for those of us who really love camping.
This is a nice campground and worth a stop to view the art.
