Drummer Boy Campging Resort is located in Gettysburg, PA.  To access the campground, take the US 15 bypass around Gettysburg and then exit onto SR 116.  Go east about 150 feet and take a left into the campground.  There is a sign marking the entrance so you can't miss it.

This is a large campground on about 90 acres with around 400 campsites and new ones under construction as of October 2008.  The sites are all shaded since they are in a wooded area and the majority of the sites are very spacious compared to the average campground.  There is a mixture of 30 and 50 amp sites, tent sites, some sites with just water and electrics and some with no hookups.  They have one and two room camping cabins and 27 full service cottages.  Other amenities include; 2 heated swimming pools and spa, large waterslide, a nice fishing pond, golf cart rentals, clean restrooms, two laundry rooms, cable TV, WiFi, 18 hole putt-putt golf, and a store with gift shop.  There is also a "Deli on the Deck" where you can get pizza, snacks and ice cream.

The campground is located only minutes away from the historic Civil War battlefields and not far from Washington, DC if you desire taking a tour of the Capital area.  Tours are provided from the campground.

This is a very family oriented campground that provides activities for all ages.  The campground also has special events during the season.  We were there close to Halloween and were very surprised as to how much the campground decorated for that event.  Everyone seemed to be involved.  The large water slide, swimming pools, play area, fishing pond and putt-putt golf and game room really provide children with things to do while camping with their family.

This is a very nice campground and we really enjoyed our visit.  We recommend this campground for an overnight stay or as a vacation destination.  They also have a number of seasonal sites avialable for those who desire to park their camper and leave it all year.
