Johnson Creek RV Resort & Cabins

Johnson Creek RV Resort is located in Ingram, Texas on Highway 27.  If you are traveling west you can take Exit 508 Highway 16 south in Kerrville to Highway 27. Go west on Highway 27 through Ingram. The campground is about 5 miles from the last traffic light in Ingram.  If you are traveling east, take Exit 488 Highway 27 off of I-10.  The campground is about 8-10 miles on your right.  Another way to avoid traffic in Kerville and Igram if you area traveling west would be to continue west on I-10 to Exit 492 Highway 41 to Mountain Home.  Go 2 miles south to the stop sign and turn left onto Highway 27.  Campground will be on your right after 4 to 5 miles.
The road into the campground is good asphalt with the interior roads being concrete. The pads are also all concrete.  There are 44 sites with 23 being pull throughs.  All sites are full hookups with 30/50 amp electricity.  Amenities include a play area, cable TV, WiFi, game room, exercise room, access to Johnson Creek for fishing and swimming, swimming pool and club house.  The club house has a laundry facility, restrooms and showers, meeting rooms and cooking area.  They offer an escort to your site and there is trash pickup at each site. There is a very nice patio behind the club house.  From the patio you have a nice view of the Johnson Creek which is about 50 below.  In addition to the RV sites they offer 3 rental units.

The club house is very nice and well decorated.  It appears to have been someones residence at one time.  There is a nice fireplace in the front room, very clean restrooms and showers.  There are several setting areas, a small laundry facility and a pool table in one of the rooms.  The outside patio behind the clubhouse is very nice.  You can sit and enjoy the view of the Texas Hill Country.

The owner is adding some additonal sites to the park.  There will be four sites on the hill just to the left of the clubhouse.  These sites will be backins and will have the same wonderful view that you get from the patio.  Along with the additional sites, they have other plans to enchance the park.

This is a very nice campground located in a quiet country setting on 50 acres in a pecan grove.  All of the sites have some shade from the pecan trees.  There is access to Johnson Creek where you can enjoy swiming, canoeing, fishing or just relaxing by the cool clear water.  You can also enjoy watching the wildlife that roams through the park during the mornings and afternoons.
