Rock Springs/Green River KOA is located in Rock Srpings, WY. To get to the campground from Interstate 80 take exit 99. Coming from the East turn right onto Foothill Blvd and go about a mile or less. The campground will be on the left just past some oil storage tanks. Coming from the West, turn left and go over Interstate 80 and turn right onto Foothill Blvd. The roads into the campground are paved but everything inside the campground is gravel. The campground has 86 pull through sites that are all side-by-side. Twenty eight of the sites are water and electric with 30/50 amp. Three of the sites are water and electric with 30 amp. Twenty of the sites are fullhookups with 50 amp. Thirty four of the sites are fullhookups with 30 amp. There are 85 long term sites that are all backins. They have 19 tent sites with water and electricty and 11 basic camping sites. There are 6 cabins and 5 deluxe cabins.
Amenities Available: This is a nice clean campgound and is a good place to stop for the night when you are traveling down Interstate 80. It is also a nice place to stay if you want to spend a few days and take in some of the attractions in the area. A few things that I don't like are the side-by-side hookups and the view. The campground is adjacent to what I guess is an oil company, so part of the view is of their big white storage tanks. Contact: 800-562-8699 Submitted by Brad & Jane
