Gulf Waters Beach Front RV Resort Community
Gulf Waters Beach Front RV Resort Community is located on Mustang Island in Port Aransas, Texas. You can get to the campground by way of Aransas Pass, Texas, crossing the ferry on SH 361 and then going south about 7 miles. If you are coming through Corpus Christi, you can take SH 358 to Mustang Island and then go north on Mustang Island Road (SH 361) for about 11 miles.
This campground is a 100% ownership property. All sites are individually owned but those owners who want to, put their site in the rental pool. There are approximately 170 sites. All sites have full hookups with 30/50 amp electricity. The sites are all concrete pads with concrete picnic tables. The sites are decorated and landscaped by the individual owner. There are a couple of lagoons that are well landscaped with campsites located around the lagoons. Cable TV is available and WiFi is available on a cost basis. The restrooms and showers are nice and clean and located in the Clubhouse. The only draw back to the showers and restrooms is that they are only available when the Clubhouse is open and it closes at 6 pm each day.
Amenities at the campground include the Clubhouse where you can have activities, a heated swimming pool and hot tub, horse shoe pits, bocce ball and video rentals. For the beach lover, there is a board walk located at the east end of the campground that takes you accross the sand dunes to the beach. There is a trolly that passes by the park on a schedule and will take you into Port Aransas. There is a activity director on site who plans special activities for the park guests.
The campground has a few restrictions which helps keep the quality of the park at a high standard. There is a minimun camper length of 24 feet. No canvas is allowed so that prevents popup campers from being in the campground and your camper can not be over 10 years old. They also have pet restrictions as to the breed of dog, which means no aggressive dogs.
This is a very nice campground that has very attractive sites well decorated by the individual owners. If you like the beach and the tropical atmosphere, this is the place to go. We enjoyed our stay at the park.
