Anvil Campground is located in Williamsburg, VA a little south of Interest 64.  Traveling east on I - 64  take exit 238, at the first stoplight turn right into Rochambeau Drive (Rte. F-137), go 1.3 miles then turn left onto Airport Road (Rte. 645), go 1.9 miles then turn left at the first stop light onto Mooretown Road (Rte. 603), go .4 miles and the campground is on the right.  Traveling west on I - 64  take exit 238, at the stop sign turn left onto 143, at the first stoplight turn right into Rochambeau Drive (Rte. F-137), go 1.3 miles then turn left onto Airport Road (Rte. 645), go 1.9 miles then turn left onto Mooretown Road (Rte. 603), go .4 miles and the campground is on the right.  The roads into the campground are paved as well as the interior roads are paved.

The campground has 48 RV sites, 11 tent sites and two rental units.  There are 9 pull thru sites with the remainder being back ins.  All but one site has sewer connection.  Forty of the sites have 30/50 amp electricity and eight have only 30 amp electrictiy.  Each site has a picnic table.

Although we did not stay at this campround, we found it to be an attractive and well maintained campground.  It is located very close to the historic areas of Williamsburg.  The major negative to this camground is the fact that it is located only feet away from an active railroad track.  That would bother me, but the campground was fairly well occupied when we drove through and took pictures.
