Estes Park KOA is located in Estes Park, Colorado. If you are coming into Estes Park on Highway 34, the campground will be on your right just as you enter the city limits. If you are coming into Estes Park on Highway 36, turn right at the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway 34 and continue on Highway 34 for about 2 miles. The campground will be on the left.
The roads leading into the campground are paved but the interior roads are gravel. There are 42 RV sites available with picnic tables. Five of the sites have 50/30/20 amp elctricity and the remainder have 30/20 amp electricity. Twenty three of the sites have sewer hookups with the remainder having water and electric only. There are no pull throughs and no side by side hookups. Twelve of the sites use a parallel parking system next to a retaining wall. They offer 17 one room cabins, 3 two room cabins and 7 deluxe cottages that have bathrooms. There are also 17 tent sites.
This is a very nice attractive and well maintained campground. We did not stay overnight at this campground but were inpressed with its appearance. Our only concern is that the sites are relatively small and I would be afraid to take our 38 foot 5th wheel into the campground. The campground was built before campers came in large sizes and had multiple slide outs. The sites range from 22 to 30 feet wide and only have a few that are 40 feet deep. Most of the sites are from 20 to 36 feet deep.

This is a must see. Be sure and
take the ride accross Trail Ridge
Road. It will take you to Grandby on the west side of the mountains past the head waters of the Colorado River.
There are many other things to see and do while in Estes Park. Check out this web site for a listing of all the things that you can do while there. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
