Jamaica Beach RV Park is located on Galveston Island in Galveston, Texas.  To get to the park, take Interstate 45 south to Galveston Island.  Take the 61st Street exit to 61st street.  Turn right and go until 61st street ends on the seawall.  Turn right on Seawall Blvd (FM 3005) and go about 11 miles.  The park is on the right.

This campground has good paved roads into the campground and good paved interior roads.  All of the sites are concrete pads and pull thrus.  Every site has 20/30/50 amp electricty, water and sewer connections.  There are no rental units and no tent camping allowed.  Each site has a picnic table available and each site has cable TV.

Although we have never stayed at this campground, it appears to be very nice.  The restrooms, showers and laundry facility are very clean.  There is a very nice pool with spa and a water splash area for small children.  A nice miniature golf course has been added and it is open to the public.  A negative for beach goers is that the campground is not on the beach side of the road but rather on the opposite side to the beach.  That means you have to cross the road to get to the beach.
