Top of the Hill RV Resort

Top of the Hill RV Resort is located 6 miles northwest of Boerne, Texas just off of Interstate 10.  To get to the RV Resort from Interstate 10, take exit 533 and go north on FM 289 for about .8 mile.  The entrance will be on your left.

The roads leading to the campground are paved.  The interior roads are a combination of paved and gravel.  All roads are in good conditin.  There are 103 RV sites with 20/30/50 amp electricty and all sites have water and sewer.  Thirty six of the sites are pull thrus.  Most of the RV sites are gravel pads but there are a few that are concrete.  Tent camping is allowed and there are 6 cabin rentals available.  Picnic tables are at the sites.

Please note that as of this writing, not all of the normal facilites are available.  This campground had a fire in June of 2011 that destroyed 10 of the RV sites as well as the club house and pavillion.  The pavilion has been rebuilt and the club house is in the process of being rebuilt and will be better than before the fire.

This is a nice campground with easy access to Interstate 10 and located close to some of the Texas Hill Country historic towns as well as San Antonio.  The campground is clean and well kept.  The views from the top of the hill sites are very nice.  Eventhough they went through a fire, they are open for business and are rebuilding as fast as possible.  Check their website for progress.  Open all year.
