Wellington KOA

The Wellington KOA is located in Wellingon, KS.  Wellington is about 30 miles south of Wichita, KS.  From Interstate 35 take exit 19 and go west on US Highway 160/KOA Drive for 1.5 miles.  Campground will be on the left.  The access road to the campground is paved but the interior roads are gravel and in good condition. 

There are 37 full hookup RV sites with 30/50 amp electricity.  All but six of the sites are pull thrus.  There are 3 rental units and three tent sites.  Each site has a picnic table.  There is no cable TV but you can get a number of channels with the over the air digital TV.

This is a small but very nice KOA campground.  The bathrooms and showers are as nice as you will find anywhere.  The fourteen sites on the north end of the campground do not have any shade but there is some nice shade on the rest of the campground.  This campground is very clean and well kept.  It has easy access from I-35 so it makes for a nice overnight.  Open all year.
