Dellanera RV Park is located on the beach in Galveston, Texas.  Interstate 45 runs south into the city of Galveston.  After entering Galveston, take 61st Street exit.  Turn right onto 61st Street and go to Seawall Blvd and take a right.  Go about 3 miles to the campground on the left.  Seawall Blvd becomes San Luis Pass Road just before the campground.

There are 65 Full Hook-up RV sites in the park.  No tents allowed and there are no rental units.  All of the sites have concrete pads, no patios but picnic tables at each site.  Each site has 30/50 amp electricity.  There are 21 pull through sites and 44 backin sites.  The interior roads are paved.

This campground has very few amenities as you can see.  Their main attraction is that they are on the Gulf of Mexico beach.  There is only a low fence that seperates the campground from the beach.  When you walk through the opening of the fence, you are on the beach.  As of this writing, this campground has just been reopened after being destroyed by Hurricane Ike.  All of the RV sites have been redone and are better than before when we stayed at the campground.  This campground is open all year but summer is their most popular season.  They fill up fast so you need to call well in advance of your planned trip.
