Paynes RV Park

Paynes RV Park is located in Theodore, Alabama which is a little west of Mobile, Alabama.  The RV Park is about 4 miles south of Interstate 10.  Traveling west on I-10 take exit 15B to Highway 90. Traveling east on I-10 take exit 15A to Highway 90.  Go south about 2.2 miles on Highway 90 to CH-59/Bellingrath Road.  Turn left and go about 1.6 miles on CH-59/Bellingrath Road to the campground on the right.

This RV Park has 102 RV sites with the majority being pull thrus.  The entrance and exit are oneway.  The interior roads are gravel and the RV sites are gravel.  They have 30/50 amp electricity and each site has a picnic table.  There is a limited amount of shade.  The pull thru sites are not angled for easy access.  They are perpendicular to the access road.

This is an okay campground and it is not too far off I-10 for an overnight.  I din't like the way the campground was laid out.  If it was crowded it could be difficult to get into the sites with a long RV.  The campground was clean and seemed to be well taken care of.
